Sun, Stars Game Preview

The Connecticut Sun will travel to the AT&T Center, in San Antonio to take on the San Antonio Stars in their second meeting of the season.

The Sun who are 8-7 overall, are on a two game win streak and are looking to continue that momentum in today’s road game. Having won seven of their last nine games, Connecticut is led by Jonquel Jones who averages 16.1 points per game, and 12.3 rebounds per game.

The Stars who have struggled this season are just 1-14 overall and currently at the bottom of the WNBA standings. The teams first win was over the Chicago Sky and has given the team some life as they look to carry that energy in to tonight’s match-up. The Stars are led by Kayla McBride who averages 15.3 ppg and Isabelle Harrison with 11.3 ppg, and 5.6 rpg. Former UConn guard Moriah Jefferson, leads the team in assists with 4.7 apg, and adds 11.2 ppg.
