Wings, Sky Game Preview

For the first time this season, the Dallas Wings (9-10) will travel to Chicago to face the Sky at Allstate Arena.

Chicago who is 4-12 overall, is coming off a big win against the top team in the league, defeating the Minnesota Lynx 100-76. This game was the teams first win at home and gave the Lynx just their second loss of the season. Courtney Vandersloot led all scorers with 26 points and 13 assists. Forward Tamera Young also added 18 points to the Sky’s win.

Dallas who has had to face the Dream in back to back meetings, has split the season series between Atlanta so far, winning their first match-up at home and then dropping the second meeting down in ATL. Skylar Diggins-Smith led the Wings with 22 points and 7 assists in the teams loss. Rookie Allisha Gray added 15 points while Glory Johnson finished with 10 points and 13 rebounds. The Wings will be put to the test as they face the Sky tomorrow afternoon at 12:30 p.m. ET, and then again on Sunday.
