Wapahani Raiders Visit Eastern Hancock

Charlottesville, Ind., — The Eastern Hancock Royals suit up against conference opponent Wapahani Raiders in another IHSAA varsity boys basketball competition.

Tip-off is Friday, Jan. 5 at 7:30 PM ET, with Derek Etherington, Royce King, and Damon Houston as your crew of officials.

Led by head coach Matt Luce, the Raiders (6-3, 1-1 Mid-Eastern) are coming off a 70-66 loss to conference foe Blue River Valley High School. In the loss, Wapahani senior Peyton West and sophomore Drew Luce led the Raiders in scoring with 25 and 24 points, respectively.

The Eastern Hancock Royals (8-1, 3-0 Mid-Eastern) look to remain undefeated in the MEC as they host the Raiders Friday night. The Royals took down MEC opponent Daleville High School, 69-46 on Dec. 29. Head coach Aaron Spaulding’s squad is stacked with seniors, as three Royals (Tyler Castle, A.J. Muegge, and Addison True) finished in double-digits in the team victory. True led the pack with 19 points.
