Lynx Visit Fever As Part of Wednesday’s Matchups

Indianapolis, Ind., – The Minnesota Lynx visit the Indiana Fever on Wednesday for a 12 o’clock tip-off at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

The Lynx (11-8) look to even the score against Indiana who came to Minneapolis and stole a 71-59 matchup last Tuesday. After defeating rival Los Angeles, Minnesota dropped their road game at Chicago on Saturday, as they struggled to shoot the basketball. The Lynx shot just 36 percent from the field and were out scored 17-9 in the fourth quarter. Maya Moore led with 16 points.

After their big win against Minnesota, the Fever (2-17) fell to the Dallas Wings 90-63. Indiana shot just 35 percent from the field and were out rebounded 47-22. Both teams look to turn things around in terms of shooting percentage and come out with a win. Catch this game on WNBA League Pass.

The New York Liberty (5-14) and the Connecticut Sun (10-9) will also be in action on Wednesday for an 11:30 AM ET tip. The Liberty have had a few struggles of their own this season as they came up short to Dallas on Sunday. Tina Charles was just shy of a double-double with 26 points and nine rebounds to lead New York. But it was Skylar Diggins-Smith who stole the show with a career-high 32 points. The Connecticut Sun (10-9) took a tough loss on Saturday to Las Vegas after Kayla McBride and A’ja Wilson combined for 61 points. Despite a balanced scoring effort from the Sun, Connecticut just couldn’t hang on for the victory. Morgan Tuck led the Sun with 20 points. Connecticut looks to bounce back against the Liberty as they welcome new addition Layshia Clarendon. Clarendon was traded by the Atlanta Dream for Alex Bentley and a future second round draft pick. The Atlanta Dream (9-9) take on the Washington Mystics (12-7) Wednesday at 11:30 AM ET. This will be the first time the two teams meet this season. The Dream look to show off new addition Alex Bentley, who they acquired from Connecticut as they make a run at the Mystics. Atlanta is coming off a 76-70 win over Phoenix, where Tiffany Hayes tallied 18 points in the win. Washington looks to get back to winning after falling short to Seattle on Sunday. Elena Delle Donne led the Mystics with 29 points and seven rebounds in the loss. Be sure to follow the game on League Pass.
