Seattle Storm Visit Indiana Fever

Indianapolis, Ind., – The Seattle Storm (18-7) will meet the Indiana Fever (3-22) for the second time this season on Tuesday night at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. After successfully securing their third win of the season against a shorthanded L.A. squad, Indiana fell to the Las Vegas Aces on Sunday. Natalie Achonwa would lead Indiana with 21 points, while Candice Dupree added 13 points in the loss. All-Stars A’ja Wilson and Kayla McBride finished with 24 and 16 points, respectively to pace the Aces. Las Vegas managed to outrebound the Fever 47-29, led by Tamera Young and Carolyn Swords with 10 rebounds each. “We have to be more stingy on the defensive end,” Fever head coach Pokey Chatman said in a statement after Sunday’s game. Indiana will have a chance to do just that against the No.1 team in league standings. Seattle who came up short to a hot Atlanta team, looks to get back on track against Indiana. Breanna Stewart poured in 31 points in the loss, while Sue Bird, who competed in her 500th game tallied 12 points and six assists.
